Five real dates. Five predators who looked harmless. One lesson that could save your life.
In this episode, you’ll hear true stories of seemingly “normal” dates that slowly twisted into something terrifying:
All stories narrated with full permission:
u/Yeast-Crease
My first Tinder experience ended with him in jail
u/crabytree
My first date in Korea bit my face on the street
u/_Earthenware
Bumble date

Creepy first date
u/beepeezy78
Blind date goes bad quickly.
a friendly barbecue invitation that wasn’t what it seemed
a date who “just wanted to talk” but drove her somewhere isolated
a man whose spotless car and strange questions were quiet red flags
casual conversations that were really information-gathering
moments where politeness almost cost someone their safety
These aren’t over-the-top movie monsters, they’re the kind of people you could meet on an app, at a party, or through friends. As you listen, notice the tiny details: the uneasy feeling, the too-personal questions, the way they push past boundaries while pretending to be nice.
Let this be a cozy-but-creepy reminder: your discomfort is a gift, and you never owe anyone politeness at the expense of your safety.
Lie back, press play.
Follow for more true, human-narrated horror you can actually fall asleep to.

They say the most dangerous predators don't look like monsters; they look like the person sitting across from you at dinner. Maybe that’s why so many of these stories seem to start in places like this... empty diners, dimly lit booths, with the hum of a distant highway. Places where we let our guard down just enough to let the wrong person in.Tonight, pull up a seat in this abandoned retro diner; a custom environment made by me in Unreal Engine 5, as we delve into a collection of accounts where trust wasn't a bridge, but a weapon. These true stranger stories prove that sometimes, the most dangerous people are the ones who have been right in front of us all along. They are a chilling testament to one rule we should never break: never write off your intuition as paranoia.
Thank you to @JNightmares for joining me in this one! He sourced and translated the first two stories from Japanese, and narrated Peeping Tom at the end! Check out his channel: https://www.youtube.com/@JNightmares
In this episode:
00:00 Intro00:49 Could you give me a ride?08:51 Creepy Boyfriend14:20 Stalked and Harassed for Months43:47 Peeping Tom54:31 Coming Soon
These stories feature unsettling encounters with strangers, stalkers, and people who simply weren't who they said they were. The visuals were custom-built in UE5 to enhance the "creepy" atmosphere without relying on cheap jumpscares.
